Our Services

  • At Vintax, we provide guidance, support, and personalized consultation to help individuals and families navigate Community First Services and Supports (CFSS). Our focus is on making the process simple, empowering you with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve the best care at home and in your community.

  • Vintax Consultation Services — Empowering Your Choice & Support

At Vintax, we believe participants deserve full control over their care and support options. We provide every participant with a complete list of all enrolled Financial Management Service (FMS) providers so you can freely choose the one that’s right for you. Our neutrality policy ensures your choice is never limited — you have access to the full network of qualified providers.

Our team is knowledgeable in employment practices, including:

    • Federal, state, and local tax, labor, and employment laws.

    • Liability and workers’ compensation coverage for household workers.

We have clear policies and procedures to help you develop the skills you need to become a confident participant-employer, including how to:

    • Recruit and select qualified support workers.

    • Set fair wages.

    • Supervise, evaluate, and address performance.

    • Manage the delivery of services.

    • Discharge workers when necessary.

    Monitoring & Worker Competency
Vintax ensures that your support workers meet your assessed needs and any additional requirements in your CFSS service delivery plan. We evaluate worker competency:

    • Within 30 days of starting services.

    • Whenever your condition changes.

    • Whenever your CFSS plan is updated.

Competency is verified through evidence such as:

    • Relevant education and experience.

    • Previous training.

    • Orientation on your unique service plan.

    • Annual written performance reviews based on direct observation.

If needed, we create a Worker Training & Development Plan to ensure ongoing competency. This is done when:

    • A worker first begins services.

    • Your needs or condition change.

    • Performance reviews indicate training is needed.

    • Your CFSS plan is modified.

    Support for Agency Model Participants
For those choosing the agency model, Vintax provides:

    • Resources on how to find enrolled CFSS agency providers.

    • A full list of FMS providers for purchasing goods — with no restrictions on your choice.

    • Step-by-step guidance on recruiting, selecting, and managing your support team.

With Vintax, you’re not just following a plan — you’re shaping it. We give you the knowledge, tools, and flexibility to make your care truly yours.

  • Vintax Consultation Services will:

    • Guide participants in locating enrolled CFSS agency providers, offering clear resources that ensure every individual understands their full freedom to choose from all available or network CFSS agencies—without any limitations imposed by us.

    • Maintain transparent policies and procedures that detail how we support participants in gaining and applying the skills needed to successfully recruit and select qualified support workers.

    Meeting Our Goals and Objectives

    Vintax will:

    • Complete all required contacts for participants without a case manager or care coordinator to authorize CFSS services, and for workers who are paid parents of minors or paid spouses.

    • Keep documentation verifying that each participant was provided with:

      • A choice of service delivery model (Agency Model or Budget Model).

      • A choice of CFSS agency provider.

      • A choice of Financial Management Service (FMS) provider when goods are part of the plan.

    • Provide consumer education to participants utilizing self-directed services under a Consultant Services provider or a PCA agency enrolled with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

    Personalized Community Support Planning

Our Vintax Support Planners will work with participants to develop a customized community support plan tailored to individual needs and goals. This may include:

    • A combination of paid and unpaid services.

    • Formal and informal supports, provided they address participant needs and fit within the Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS) budget.

At Vintax, our mission is to ensure every participant receives the tools, resources, and guidance necessary to live as independently as possible while maintaining full control over their support and care decisions.
